Make a schedule. Most of us are very busy working more than 8 hours a day, taking care of our children, running errands, etc. We can’t have at least 5 hours a day and sometimes we prefer not to. The right way is to manage your hectic schedule and find time when to have the the cleaning session.
Motivate yourself. Cleaning is not everyone’s favorite activity, and we also don’t want to make ourselves miserable by doing it. You have to ask yourself, why are you cleaning? Because you are asked to or because you want to? Look forward for positive outcome. Enjoy cleaning. Wear comfortable clothes, put on a good music, and reward yourself after doing it.
Have a plan. Inefficiency occurs when there’s no plan of attack. So before you begin, make plan on what part of the house are you going to start cleaning. You can touch all the areas of the house if you have the sense of direction.
Mix your own cleaning solutions. Sure you can buy those commercialized cleaning solutions out there. But in the middle of your cleaning session and you find out that you ran out of this and that, it is hassle to dress up again and head to the nearest store. Alternatives can be found straight in your own home. Using Ammonia, dilute 3 parts water in an empty spray bottle to clean windows, appliances and countertops. It can also remove wax build up in the kitchen floor if used full strength. 1/2 cup vinegar mixed with 1 tablespoon salt is an excellent way to scrub copper and brass. To deodorize garbage cans and scrubbing the kitchen and bathroom floor, use pine oil in full strength. To remove stains and odors from refrigerators and coffee pots, you can also use baking soda instead of scouring powder. To freshen the carpeting, sprinkle a dry baking soda before vacuuming.

Keep away with toxins and imporve your home which affects the bigger picture. Switch to eco-friendly alternatives and make your own cleaners. Save water, observe proper waste disposal and recycle.
