Good food and drink. When all is said and done it is the food and drink that make a good party. Finger food is the best option to go for as people dont have to wonder around with plates and cutlery, and swap the crystal glass for paper cups as accidents will inevitably happen, especially when alcohol is involved.Don’t be afraid to ask your guests to bring a bottle or two along with them, especially if your money is tight. After all, you are going to the trouble of hosting the party and as long as you provide the champange flutes most will be happy to provide the bubbly.
Good decorations. Finally, it is very important to get your house or party location looking fun also. If you house looks exactly the same as normal, people will not feel like it is much of an event.
